Joe Tierney of Joe's Farm will be working with the botany program this year to attempt to establish a row cropping program where students grow meaningful amounts of food to be integrated into Food Services with Union Public Schools.  This year the district secured a "USDA Farm to School" grant, which will be used to initiate this program and build a greenhouse to support it.
