Joe Tierney owns Joe's Farm in Bixby, Oklahoma, which in additional to being an organic farm, has a store selling locally produced and grown goods and a you-pick program.  Joe's Farm vision is not only to produce high-quality food, but also to be a positive force in the community.  Joe provides food services at Union with high quality, organically grown produce.  In addition to hosting botany class field trips to his farm, Joe has spent entire days at the high school speaking with botany students about what is involved in organic farming, and demonstrating how to germinate seeds.  In addition to his time, he has donated soil, pots, and thousands of seeds to the botany program.
