Global Gardens is a fantastic Tulsa based non-profit organization which empowers low-income students and families through inquiry-based learning that takes place in gardens at five sites around Tulsa.  The site where the Union High School garden is located is owned by Asbury United Methodist Church, who donates the space to Global Gardens for their programs and the community Garden.  The collaboration of a church, a non-profit, and public school, where students are given the opportunity to interact with a wide diversity of people while improving the community is one of the brightest aspects of the Union Botany Program.
