McCauliffe school, one of Union School's elementary schools has a courtyard which could be a spectacular outdoor learning area for the students.  Unfortunately, over the years, it has fallen into a state where the students are unable to use the space.  Botany students took a field trip to the site to see the space and measure.  Elementary students met and sent the high school students ideas of what they would like to see incorporated.  Botany students then created their proposals, including 2D and 3D renderings.  Elementary students then took a field trip to the high school to hear the student proposals.  At the end of the proposals, elementary and high school students assembled the best ideas into a single proposal.  Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we were unable to build the project in 2020, but will hopefully revisit it in 2021.
